Discover the best of Scotland and Ireland on a captivating small group guided tour, combining world-famous rail journeys, dramatic coastal scenery and rich cultural heritage.  Your journey begins in Scotland, where you’ll experience idyllic lochs and glens contrasting with the raw majesty of Rannoch Moor along the world-renowned West Highland Line.  Travel on the iconic Jacobite steam train, while inlets and fishing hamlets line the route to Inverness on the Kyle Line. The peaks and peninsulas of Skye, and the mysteries of Loch Ness, provide breathtaking stopovers before the Scottish leg of your journey ends in Edinburgh. Then cross to Ireland to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, delving deep into the culture and history of each location, from traditional music and island life to the grand sights of the Cliffs of Moher and Ring of Kerry. Blending breathtaking landscapes, fascinating stories and authentic local experiences, this unforgettable journey offers the very best of both nations.

Location

This tour begins with an overnight stay in Glasgow, followed by two nights in Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness, two nights on the Isle of Skye, and one night each in Inverness and Edinburgh. The journey then continues to Ireland, starting and ending in Dublin, with stops in Galway, Ennis and Killarney along the way
