The 2024 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
The 2024 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo will take place over the period 2nd to 24th August with performances on Monday to Friday at 9.30pm, and on Saturday at 6.15 pm and 9.30pm. There is no performance on Sundays.
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is set on the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade and promises to be brighter and bolder than ever before in 2024. The Tattoo, as always, is committed to delivering the best entertainment experience and inspired spectacle. With a unique ability, through its performers, music and setting, to evoke the emotions and stir the senses like nothing else, the Tattoo will wow audiences once again. You will have the chance to experience the exceptional mix of military precision, awe inspiring dance and sparkling musical entertainment, intertwined with state of the art projection, lighting and exciting creative elements

Your Hotel – Sunday to Tuesday arrivals
Your stay is in a boutique hotel close to Holyrood Park, to the south of the centre of this captivating city. Built in the 1750’s and magnificently restored, your hotel offers a charming, warm and friendly atmosphere with all the benefits of modern day service, comfort and Scottish hospitality.

Your Hotel – Wednesday to Friday arrivals
You will stay in a most convenient location next to Waverley Station and moments’ walk from the Royal Mile.
Placing the coolly furnished reception, lounge and dining area – all retro-modern and Scandi-chic – on the seventh floor is something of a masterstroke. Here, arriving guests are afforded quite superb views North across the city and the Firth of Forth to the Kingdom of Fife through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Rooms are finished to an exacting standard, too, with modern bathrooms, exposed timber, the crispest of linens and sumptuous beds, as well as high-quality conveniences helpfully provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
For the evening of the Tattoo, you’re just a short walk away from the venue.

This short break to the 2024 Tattoo is based in Edinburgh, which can be easily reached by train or plane from elsewhere in the UK. A car is not necessary to explore the city during your stay.

Sunday to Tuesday arrivals priced at £775 per person based on 2 people sharing a double room ensuite, for 3 nights as described on a bed & breakfast basis in our hand-picked 4 star hotel. Wednesday to Friday arrivals are priced at £925 per person.
Single occupancy supplement is available on request.
Price includes a ticket for an East Stand seat for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. To make your evening more comfortable we also include private transfers from your hotel to and from the venue.
