Food & Drink

Food and drink are high on our list of what makes a good holiday and we’d love to share the regional delights we’ve discovered with you.

We can personally recommend the unique seaweed lamb on Orkney, the Linnalla Pure Irish Ice Cream from County Clare and crumbly Wensleydale Cheese eaten where it’s made in Yorkshire.

There’s very little to beat that first velvety sip of Guinness, deep in the snug of a convivial Irish bar, or a refreshing beer from the brewery at Traquair House in the Scottish Borders. Chocoholics will love The Scottish Chocolate Centre near Aberfeldy, while the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar offers a menu of mouth-watering treats for seafood-lovers. Whether you’d like to sample the best smoked kippers in Northumberland, treat yourself to a Michelin-starred restaurant in Edinburgh or locally-brewed beer in Waterford, we’d be delighted to organise it for you. If whisky is your tipple of choice – and who are we to disagree – our range of Scotch and Irish whisky/whiskey holidays is limited only by the number of distilleries!
