Day one – collect your Tesla in Edinburgh and take the long way round to Perthshire
Your Tesla Model S (other models subject to availability) will have a full electric charge and will be waiting for you in Edinburgh. Throw your luggage in the vast boot and get ready for one of the most exhilarating driving experience you’re ever likely to have. Leave the Scottish capital behind and take a circuitous route to the Gateway to the Highlands, and your first wonderful stop.
Your Castle Hotel in Highland Perthshire
Within a stone’s throw of the charming Victorian tourist town of Pitlochry, your first accommodation is one of Scotland’s finest castle hotels. Carved from the historic rock of a hilltop, this fairytale Scottish castle exhibits a quite astonishing attention to detail, with rooms designed with guests’ complete comfort in mind. Extensive, world-class spa facilities give way to eateries to suit any occasion, be it informal bar food or the very best fine dining. With a Tesla charger on-site, your car will be fully-loaded, raring and ready to go again each morning.
Day Two – discovering the Highlands
Your chance to enjoy more Tesla driving – perhaps taking the wild road over the Pass of Glenshee to Braemar or touring along the banks of magnificent Loch Tay? We’ll provide you with plenty of suggestions and recommendations, always taking into account the driving range of the Tesla and convenient charging points.
Day three – across Scotland to the majestic west coast
If you’ve never taken the cross-country trip, you’re in for the most delightful of scenic treats amidst some of the UK’s most dramatic scenery. On the other hand, familiar roads take on a whole new dimension from the wheel of a Tesla, its effortless power dispatching long-distance touring routes in near silence, as you make your way towards a quite wonderful hotel off the west coast.
Your Scottish Castle-Style Hotel in Argyll
A longstanding favourite of ours, your hotel in Argyll is a quite extraordinary five-star baronial castle set on its own private island. Popular with the most discerning traveller, this intimate and tranquil place is an oasis of calm, offering guests the opportunity to escape and unwind in the most fabulous surroundings. Again, the very best spa facilities, coupled with extraordinary dining and rooms of the very highest quality combine to make this a superb getaway. And you’ll find a Tesla charging point ready and waiting too.
Day four – exploring Argyll and Scotland’s west coast
You might decide simply to soak up the hush and delights of your private west coast island, wandering in the woods, searching for elusive otters by the water’s edge or enjoying a reviving spa treatment. Or you could head once more for the open Scottish roads, perhaps gliding south in your Tesla through Oban to the fascinating prehistoric sites of Kilmartin Glen?
Day five – onward journey home
Take your time on your return journey to Edinburgh, making the most of your Tesla driving experience through the dramatic pass of Glencoe and yet more breath-taking Highland scenery.
Two nights in a castle in Highland Perthshire followed by two nights on the West Coast, starting and finishing in Edinburgh.
